Our Company

DLC Cleaning Services was established in 1999 as a small family run entity – specialising in professional cleaning services for schools, universities, businesses, offices, student houses and small scale individual needs.

Over the years DLC has expanded to a company with 40 employees, servicing the broader Stellenbosch community. The current sole owner, Ms Dianna Lochner, is supported by her well trained, dedicated team.

Our employees are chosen with the greatest care, trained by the company and Seesa skill trained.

DLC Cleaning Services

Domestic Clean

A basic house clean. It is a popular clean of a flat/house & can be done once a week or bi-weekly. It includes: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, washing of floors, dishes, bathroom and kitchen wipe.

Event Clean

A once-off clean after/during an event where there is a clear up needed. Sometimes at unusual hours and very late or early morning, to make sure these areas are ready asap.

Blind and Window Clean

This is an additional extra which must be booked in advance. Only reachable windows on a step ladder.

Deep Clean

A thorough clean. It includes: tidying, dishes, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, washing of floors, thorough kitchen and bathroom wipe, reachable windows, patio/braai area.

Wall Clean

Extra/specific cleaning of walls with marks on it.

Janitorial Service

We do the cleaning of schools, universities, businesse and offices. The general maintenance work, we outsource.

Commercial Clean

Practice or office clean. It is the cleaning of work areas, common areas, restroom, reception and kitchen. It includes: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polish, sanitise and waste removal.

End Of Tenancy Clean

An open property with no furniture. Top to bottom clean.

Sports Clean

The cleaning of sport facilities for example gyms.

F.A.Q.

Entry
Providing us with a key/gate code/remote/security code is preferable after our first visit. Only the supervisor/manager/owner unlocks, locks and does inspections themselves.
Can the client assist with cleaning?
We prefer to clean each room ourselves. The client is welcome to join the supervisor/manager/owner for the final inspection afterwards.
Scheduled cleaning on a public holiday.
We will reschedule your cleaning day, the day before or after. It will be communicated beforehand.
Carpet Cleaning
We vacuum only. If the carpet is in need of a professional wash, we can make a recommendation or arrangement.
Moving of items/furniture to dust or vaccuum.
We do move items/furniture. Heavy furniture will not be moved, unless the client instructs us to do so.

Cleaning Supplies
We bring our own, cleaning supplies, including a vacuum cleaner.
Green company
We are not a green company, we will however be happy to use Green cleaning products supplied by the client for this requirement.
Trash
Trash removal from inside the house to the wheely bin provided is included in our services.
Garage Clean
It can be arranged prior to quotation.
It is part of the Deep Clean option.
